Visiting us

We want your pet to feel at home while visiting our studio.

Arriving

If your pet is feeling a bit jittery on the day of your visit, text us before you arrive and we’ll meet you and your pet on the street for a neutral, low-key introduction. If your pet is more excitable, let us know in advance and we’ll play things cool when you arrive to prevent the combination of new people, new places and new smells overwhelming them.

Time to explore

Pets, like humans, can sometimes be unpredictable, so once inside we’ll give your pet a bit of time to explore and sniff around. Only when they are settled will we start the day.

Food & drink

Fresh water will be provided for your pet on arrival and whenever needed during their visit, to ensure they stay hydrated. We know pets can be as picky as people when it comes to what they do and don’t like to eat though, and that some animals are sensitive to certain foods. Therefore, we don’t provide any food for our non-human visitors. To encourage positive behavior and cooperation during the shoot though, we ask that you please bring some of your pet’s favorite treats or snacks with you. These can be used as incentives, rewarding good behavior and helping to maintain their attention.

Outside space

We have a fenced courtyard which your pet is welcome to use at any point during their visit. Whatever package you have booked with us, we won’t be rushing, so please ask for a break whenever your pet needs it, so that they remain calm and settled. If your pet needs a little more space to roam in, our studio is next door to a public park where they can do so a little more freely.

Staging

Depending on the staging and setup you choose for your pet, they may need gently lifting onto items of furniture. For the comfort and safety of your pet, we kindly ask that you handle this task. If for any reason this poses a challenge, we will work with you on alternative setups so your pet can stay on the floor.

Grooming

We keep a ready supply of poop bags, water and towels to hand for our visitors, but when it comes to grooming, please bring any necessary tools, brushes or wipes that may be needed to keep your pet looking its best.

Patience

Please remember that patience is crucial when working with animals. Don’t worry if your pet initially seems a bit shy or excited - we are skilled in capturing authentic moments, and a patient approach often leads to the best results. Enjoy the process, and let your pet’s unique personality shine through in every frame!
